Course Description

The OSHA 10-hour General Industry training course provides industry workers with information about their rights and employer responsibilities, how to file a complaint, and how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards on a job site.

The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter at a work site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.

  • Walking-Working Surfaces, Fall Protection: 1hr
  • Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, Fire Protection: 1hr
  • Electrical Safety: 1hr
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): 1hr
  • Hazard Communications (HAZCOM): 1hr
  • TOTAL TIME: 6 Hours
  • Elective Course Topics

  • Hazardous Materials: 30 min
  • Materials Handling: 30 min
  • Introduction to Industrial Hygiene: 30 min
  • Machine Guarding: 30 min
